Well this day, Being Fathers Day, was a rainy and muggy day. Nothing anyone could do to stop goggles and masks from fogging up. Nevertheless, we played through it and had a good short day of airsoft.
First game, we kept it simple due to the rain. A quick team death match. Nice little match. Some action going on mostly in the SE portion of the area. Not much to really say. Didnt see any issues on the field, and saw everyone calling their hits. It seemed people were minding the ME distance, which is good. We dont need people getting hurt. Was a good game with some good fire fights.
Second game we played an infection game, so points were soley based on kill counts only. We used Base A to see how infection would go. Was a slow start, but come to find out, there was a weapon down with one of the infectors, so two players were trying to get the gun up and running. Defenders held off pretty well, until Orion threw a grenade into the building. That set off a chain reaction of dead players. The highlight to this game, and she might kill me for stating it, was Karen and her scream when the grenade went off. Was a good laugh for me, and made it even funnier when I found out she tried to jump into Gerald. lol. Was funny from my point of view. Now that we have played this building a lot, the attackers are seeing how exactly they need to take the base. Defenders of this building will most definately need to step up their game to make sure this base doesnt get taken.
Overall, rain and all, was a nice day to sling some bb's. Again, Happy Fathers day to all the dads out there. Lastly, on non holiday game days, we need to push for a minimum of four point games. Doing one, or two, makes it hard for players to climb the point ladder. So, we will start having at least four point games regardless how many players are left. People want to play, we will play. It makes it more of a competition when we get more point games in. Until next game day, get the gear cleaned, and be ready for some different objective games.
End of report.................
