Both days were beautiful days for airsoft. Wasn't hot, but was a little windy on both days. Regardless, we had three great starts for the points race. Just goes to show how missing one day can change your standing A LOT.
Tournament 2 we played various little games to get the blood moving, and bb's flying. I want to start running scenario based games again so people start learning how to work with one another to complete a goal within the game. Now that the field is growing in again, scenario games will require more planning, and better tactics. Tournament 2 showed we were ready to start assigning squads and move onto bigger and better games.
Tournament 3 we were short on people, but we still had a great day. We tried a couple new type of games, and I was able to evaluate people to see how they play, and what role best suits them. Today showed how valuable communication is, and how we have to stay observant of the enemy team. Shit happens, and was still a fun game. We got a little drizzle of rain, but it didn't last long and we continued to play.
Hopefully next game day we can get squads assigned. If not, I am just going to place people where I think they will work. I wanted to try something different this year and let the SL's pick their squad mates, so Im hoping to get that done next game day. Also, as long as the weather is good, I will be bringing the tank out to show everyone. She is ready to go, just need to air up the tires and load her into the trailer.
With that I will end this AAR and keep it a short one. Was a great couple of tournaments so far so lets keep up the good work and keep having fun.
End of report.......................
