What a great day for airsoft. We had just about everyone there this day, and the weather was just perfect for slinging some bb's. As we barrel down to the last game for points coming up next game day, the points race has shifted. Will also be the final game for points for Squad vs Squad. It is still anyones game and do not count any Squad out that hasnt had a win yet. Mass amount of points are coming for the final game. There will be 900 points in objectives on the field, and thats not including kill counts. Six artifacts, enemy flag capture, and a special objective on the field.
First game we did Squad 2 vs Squad 3. New assistant leadership was assigned to squad 3 in order to help out with stratagies and tactics. Both squads were running neck and neck, but it was squad 2 who found the artifact early on. Neither squad was able to pull the other squads flag and return it to their base. Was some good fire fights and tactics being used.
Second game we played the old game Ring of Fire. A non stop, bb burning game, to see how many bases the attackers can take, pushing the defenders back base to base. The first group of attackers had three LMG's to the defenders 1. Teams were not chosen by me, but chosen by team captains, so thats not my fault it happened that way. So the first group of attackers laid into the defenders pretty heavy. All three LMG's just going full bore on the base. The defenders stayed hidden for the most part until they got some opportunity to get some shots in. The first group of attackers wee able to take over all four bases with 2 minutes to spare.
The final game, we reversed it so that the defenders were now the attackers. Instead of going all out on the first base, they thought it through more with strategic shots. For being overwhelmed by LMG's, they still pushed through three of the four bases. With five minutes left on the clock, they had to attempt an all out push to grab the final base. Unfortunately they were unable to take it over. With a little more aggression in the short amount of time they had, it is possible they could of gotten the base for an even win. The HIGHLIGHT of this round was watching Kris run right past me and Karen to through a grenade over the wall. Only to turn toward us, start running, then did a full dive leap into the group as if it was a real grenade. Was the funniest shit I have seen in a long time. I guess if you are going to do something, go all out with it. lol.
All in all a great day of airsofting. I cannot wait until the next game day to see how things turn out. Could it be an upset? Or will things stay as the rankings show now? Time will tell so get prepared. Until next time.
End of report..............
