Today was a good day for airsoft, with a good size group. Almost all squads were complete, minus a few. Didnt really start getting hot until about noon. We are barreling down to the final three games for points. It is currently marked as to all who have a chance at the top three spots. We also only have 2 point games left for Squad vs Squad. Its anyones game how this plays out.
The first game we played Squad 1 vs Squad 3, at their respective bases. It was pretty even across the board. Squad 3 pushed very hard at Squad 1's base, but left only one player to defend their own base which cost them the game. I think if Squad 3 had comms like Squad 1 utilizes, then they could of done a hell of a lot better. Comms can make or break a game. Without them, you are shooting in the dark hoping you team knows whats going on, versus being able to communicate with your team to tell them whats going on and where.
The second game we played the Anniversary game between husband and wife of Peter and Karen Brown, who both were team leaders to play against one another. Well, ill just say this. The brides team won. Hear the woman roar. lol. The brides team beat the grooms team in 3 1/2 minutes. It was an epic spanking.
The third game we played a full auto attack and defend game of the village. People wanted full auto, so them, um, got full auto. lol. The defenders were able to hold off the attackers, but the attackers didnt let up the whole game. Was a constant fire fight until the sound of the horn.
All in all a great day for airsoft. Couple issues I will discuss here. Blind fire is a no no. If you cannot see down your sights what you are shooting at, then you dont shoot. Blind fire shots do not count and the player will not be called out from a blind fire shot. Secondly, call your hits. There is no shame in respawning. Sucks, but there is no shame in it. I know sometimes we dont feel it, but police yourself and your team. Snipers are getting better at their distance shooting, so thats a plus. So lets keep the game fair and make sure you call your hits when hit.
End of report...........
It was far from an "epic spanking"... sure her team won but calling it a spanking is far from the truth. *rolls eyes*
But yes it still was a great day for games and hope to see everyone out at the next games!!!!
